SPRJ Kanyashala Trust

In 2023 Women for Change established a key-talent program with the SPRJ Kanyashala Trust, a Mumbai educational not-for-profit operating since 1924, supporting 20 young women. The program funds subsidised tuition and stipends for competitive courses in IT, business, accounting and journalism — fields with clear career pathways.

Because internships are decisive in India, the program also arranges internship experience, plus mentoring — locally and by video link from Australia — covering interview preparation, presentation and workplace confidence for young women who may only have known their own village or neighbourhood.
